North American esports organization Team Liquid announced that its entire Dota 2 roster would be parting ways. Unlike with most roster changes, the players themselves asked to leave the organization to start their own team. These players are Kuro “KuroKy” Takhasomi, Ivan Borislavov “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov, Maroun “GH” Merhej, Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi, and Aliwi “w33” Omar. Team Liquid’s Dota 2 team most recently placed 2nd in 2019’s The International. They also won 2017’s The International event, taking home nearly $11 million USD. Click here.

“After four years under the Team Liquid organization, our Dota team has decided to pursue this new dream: To build a team of their own,” said Team Liquid founder Victor “Nazgul” Goossens. “While it fills me with great sadness to part ways with the best Dota roster we ever could have dreamed of, I am proud of the unforgettable years we have spent together, which include innumerable championships, records, and memories.” However, Nazgul confirmed that Team Liquid would be signing a new Dota 2 roster soon. Still, a roster on the tier of Team Liquid will be hard to find in a short time.
The Team Liquid Dota 2 roster changed several times until 2016 when three players stayed after two left. Miracle- along with GH were added, and the same roster stuck together until today’s announcement. The team didn’t achieve much until 2016, after which its successes grew.
In the 2018 season, the team placed 1st at the China Dota 2 Super Major, where it defeated Virtus Pro. After a 4th place loss to Invictus Gaming at 2018’s The International, TL bounced back for a 2nd place finish at 2019’s The International. With the roster’s experience and high skill, the new team that these players form will likely go on to achieve many things. Read More!

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
